Lurra.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 22, 2026

Lurra is a managed website hosting platform operated by Coastline Applications ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it — both for our customers and for visitors to the websites we host.

We built Lurra to collect as little as possible. No advertising trackers, no data sales, no cross-site profiling. Ever.

If you're a Lurra customer

When you sign up for Lurra, we collect:

Account information — your name and email address, used to sign you in, secure your account, and send you service notifications (things like form submissions from your website, usage alerts, and billing notices).

Billing information — payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers; we see only what's needed to manage your subscription (such as the card's last four digits and your billing status).

Your website content — the pages, text, and images you create or upload. This is your content, not ours; see our Terms of Service for how ownership works.

Support correspondence — if you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

We use this information to operate the service you're paying for. We don't use it for anything else.

If you visit a website hosted on Lurra

Websites hosted on Lurra are owned and operated by our customers. When you visit one:

Analytics without tracking — we count page views using a method designed so that we cannot identify you: no cookies, nothing stored on your device, and your IP address is never written to storage. Visit counts use a one-way code that is deleted within 48 hours, after which nothing can connect any visit to any person — not even by us. We cannot follow you between days or between websites, by design.

Contact forms — if you submit a contact form, what you type is delivered to the website's owner; that's the point of the form. We store the submission on the owner's behalf for up to one year, then delete it. The website owner is responsible for how they use what you send them.

Spam and abuse protection — to block bots and abuse, your IP address is used transiently: held for less than an hour for rate limiting, then discarded. Forms may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical data to tell humans from bots (see Cloudflare's privacy policy).

Server logs — our infrastructure provider (Amazon Web Services) generates standard access logs used for security and troubleshooting. These are retained for a limited period and are not used to profile visitors.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers required to run the platform:

Amazon Web Services — all hosting and storage (United States).

Stripe — payment processing.

Cloudflare — bot protection on contact forms.

That's the whole list. We never sell personal information, and we never share it for advertising.

How long we keep things

Contact-form submissions: up to 1 year.

Content backups: publish history is kept for 1 year so customers can restore earlier versions of their site.

After a customer leaves: we provide a complete export of their site and data, keep it available for download for 90 days, then hold an archived copy in cold storage for up to 3 years (in case a former customer needs their data back) before permanent deletion.

Analytics: only anonymous daily totals are kept (page views, visitor counts, top pages, referrers, countries). They contain no personal information.

Account information: kept while your account is active, deleted after offboarding is complete.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us. If you're a visitor to a hosted website and want a form submission deleted, contact the website's owner — they control that data; we act on their instructions. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; contact us and we'll help.

Children

Lurra is a business service and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, notify customers by email.
